I viewed your family tree after searching for my father's ancestors. His
name was Dicran Armaghanian and your family tree included an Ashagouhi
Armaghanian. The Armaghanian name is not that common a name so it is of
interest. A great site.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I stumbled across your page, while surfing on the net. To be specific, I was
going through the Eramian Genealogical Tree which caught my attention, since I
am linked with family ties to that family and much to my surprise, saw my
parents', grandparents', great-grandparents etc names mentioned! Since my
brother's and my names are referred to only as Son and Daughter, I could fill
those blanks in, together with some more missing info noticed, if you wish. If
you are interested in contacting me, here is my address:...
Sincerely, Ani Der Nishanian

I found your family history fascinating! My family name is Avramides and my
father came from Kapedes, Nicosia, Cyprus and that's how I looked into your
family tree, as I saw the same surname in your site. I found it hard to get
info for genealogy purposes from Cyprus. Do you have any advice? Anyway, you
have a great family! [...]

Comments from Colin Jones - son of Ani Kevorkian (daughter of Aram
Kevorkian)who married Ivor Jones in Nicosia in October 1950. Just by way of
correction, the narrative attaching to Ani and Ivor indicates that Ivor was in
the Welsh Gaurds - it was the Royal Engineers actually. having said that, I
complement you on the site and the amount of hard work that you put into it.
Well done. I can be contacted at colin.jones...

my grand-mother family name was Zakarian, zabel - Yeghsabet Zakarian, we just
know that she was orphan she didnt remember anything, but after 50 years, she
met her twin sister (mariam) in armenia who was married to Girayr Atamian. I
wish i could find more about her. She died in 1990 in lebanon. Thank you for

My name is Marc EDDE, I am lebanese who emigrated to france. I did my
studies in Lebanon till the age of 14 ( I am 43 now). I had a very good
friend of mine named Georges Zakarian at the school of Mont La salle in Lebanon
towards the year 1977-78. War and distance and my young age (then) made
me lose contact with Georges.
If anyone could help me find out where he is I would be very gratefull (he
must be in his 40's now). C'est la vie , it takes your memory and it
brings it back. Thanks Marc EDDE

Amicalement

Dear Mr. Harry Dikranian, I appreciated the Zakarian family tree you have
collected and exhibited. I have elaborated a genealogical tree of the
descendants of Zakar Chorbadji(Guilikatsi) Zakarian, but have no any
information, concerning the names of his brotherts or time of deportation from
Turkey.Later he has been living in Russe-Bulgaria. In case, he is the broter of
: Movses, Hovhannes and Nazaret Zakarian, mentioned in your research, you might
associate with my wife's sister Selma Zakarian, living in Montreal- Canada and
having in her disposition a copy of our geneaol.tree She will be absent until
the 10 august 07. Her e-mail adress is as follows : zakarianselma a.t.
yahoo.fr. I should be pleased to know some more information for Zakar Zakarian
in case you can afford it to me. My e-mail adress is as follows: edizam a.t.

On such a dreary day, it was a break of sunshine to find your website. I am a descendant of Pranatzem (ERAMIAN)SAVALIAN and her husband Megerditch. I never knew her maiden name and had not done too much Armenian research. You've provided a wealth of information and I will pass it along to my mother who is 88 yrs old.
I see you call her Eranig (Yeranig) ERAMIAN. The death record I received from Cyprus in 2004, states Pranatzem's mother name was Yeranouhie - are the other names derivatives?
This is wonderful.

Dear Raffy
I was shocked when i saw the photos of sameba building and human bones
so i digged the story
and found out some facts
Concerning the Armenian cemetery in avalbari
the the building of sameba and Seminary
was done on so called khodjavank park(i say "so called" because i don't know the official name)
the pantheon of great Armenians is situated nearby the cathedral
also i want to inform you that khodjavan park was built in 1948
before that it was avlabari cemetery
Could i contact you somehow to work out this issue
this news was changed and retranslated by
georgian,russian and armenian press
and led to some
unpleasant conflicts between georgians and armenians
Best Regards
Guram
